Subject	Where could one recycle or thrash old car parts?

Message	I have a few old Z parts, such as stock shocks and springs that are totally shot and not worth anything. Local recycle center does not accept them and I do not want to simply dump them in a dumpster. I need to clean up the garage and would like to throw away junk Z parts that I havel aying around.
